It's one of the main reasons I've ODd 22 times during the past two years.

I get a lot of intrusive thoughts, one of which being that I'm coming back as a girl. An American girl, to be more precise.

I too believe in reincarnation, however most tradition agree that suicides are reborn in similar circumstances to their previous lives until they can figure that out.
Hopefully if I'm reborn it's in a life where I'm not held by all these things and I can really be myself

Such a Western attitude. Hinduism & Buddhism see reincarnation as a terrible thing, & people desperately want to avoid it by becoming "enlightened". If you asked a Tibetan what they would like to be reborn as, they would be shocked & offended. It would be like asking a medieval Italian which circle of hell they would like to end up in when they die

What are you convinced your goals are?

You know, in the cultures where people believe in that stuff the goal is actually to get off the wheel of reincarnation (= wheel of suffering) by shedding one's ego/becoming "enlightened". Reincarnation is seen as a horrible trap, not some fun Ferris wheel

I became Hindu for a while, until I learned that suicide is the ultimate sin for which when you leave earth, you end up in a place between hell and earth where you're punished horrendously.

But I've since learned of an act known as prayopavesa, whereby you can starve yourself to death, as long as you declare it to another Hindu. This is classed as the ultimate sacrifice, and you automatically break the reincarnation cycle and achieve Moksha (the Hindu word for enlightenment.)

I'm no longer Hindu, but it's the only religion I respect. It's actually the oldest religion known to man, and goes back as far as time itself.

As for reincarnation being a horrible trap, I like the concept. I want to come back again, only next time I'll do many things differently. I've fucked up/swerved a lot of great opportunities, and now I hate my life. That's why I do what I do.

I'm not very good at explaining things, but here goes: I have gone through 3 year cycles of having a major crisis/tragedy quickly followed by serious suicidal ideation, resurgence of faith in spiritual matters and an "awakening" (including several intense spontaneous Kundalini activations). I think my life lessons have been to foster resilience/confidence in self, to "upgrade" spiritually and to liberate myself from any constraint/to heal. My greatest obstacle this lifetime has been fear. I am a weak person.

If in this world/not too unrealistic: something, like air or a whisper, capable to travel anywhere on the planet, so I can go look at all the stuff I missed, without the monetary aspects of travel & life and burdens of having a brain & physical form. (Hopefully I'd be able to die by getting breathed with or something when I'm done)

If anything is possible: a cryptid being capable of shapeshifting and traveling anywhere, even in fictional worlds. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to be a witch/wizard in an academy like the one in "Mary and the Witch's Flower" (just look at it…), but also a cat just lazying about in different worlds at the same time...

Tempting to start from scratch but there are glimpses of potential good, might get nostalgic for those parts. Probably just start cleaning up, removing/improving the bad as it's observed.
