Is my rope good enough for hanging (full suspension). The length is 3 meters. Is this too short? Should i buy a longer one?

length of rope doesnt matter. it would matter if you would use drop hanging.

If you want full suspension, just make sure you wont touch the ground with feet stretched, so need minimum 15cm from ground.

Another question. Is there a tutorial on how to tie a rope on a thin steel beam( don't know if you can call that a beam). I'm using a noose knot as a method. I want the tie to be secured as much as possible and have enough tightness to hold my weight to avoid a failed hanging.
