Method Idea for a new SN method

The suppository is made to be absorbed into the body through the anus.
The biggest problem with SN methods is the suppression of 'excitement'.
But if you can absorb SN through the anus, you don't have to think about vomiting.

Would it work if I made SN into a capsule and then put it through the anus like a suppository?

I don't know if SN is absorbed in the rectum or colon.

But if this is possible, all protocols are streamlined: there is no chance of failure.

Looks like the conclusion is that SN is absorbed in the small intestine so it wouldn't work rectally, though I can't confirm that.

Instead of using the search function, I use Google and then I add

site:sanctioned-suicide.net

at the end of my search query. Google generally does a better job searching the site than the site's own search function.

Suppositories can have a laxative effect and also carry the risk that the active substance is released only slowly. Additionally, the lethal amount of SN cannot be incorporated into a single suppository, requiring multiple suppositories.

It is also very likely, according to research, that the nausea is a systemic effect of sodium nitrite rather than a localized stomach effect. Thus, nausea can occur with oral intake, anal, or intravenous administration.

You're probably confusing it with sodium cyanide.

According to Philip Nitschke, rectal nitrite administration is fine and the dose can be doubled.

Same procedure as the American Clinicians Academy on Medical Aid in Dying (Non-Oral Self-Administration).

It's not adviced to use capsules, mainly for the reason that delayed release can complicate things. You most probably will be concious for longer when you use capsules.

Stomach acid is thought to play an important role of sn ctb mechanics. HCL reacts with some of the nitrite to produce Nitric oxide which, in theory, aid in achieving unconsciousness faster.
