mint chocolate chip originally but now that has progressed to more fancy and gourmet flavours

so my favorites would be anything new or fancy

for example ice cream with a lavender flavour added to it

or desserts transformed or added to ice creams, I went to a ice cream shop months ago to have tres leches cake inspired ice cream and it was so good I am still thinking about it

Red Velvet

Fried (not literally although actual fried ice cream is fantastic, but this was vanilla with a bit of cinnamon sugar and some cinnamon sugar bits of dough mixed in)

Salted Caramel Cheesecake

If it were possible I would sell my soul to just eat ice cream all day and winter is the best time to stock up and eat it because no one else is buying it

And because of this yummy thread, I went past a shop specially for ice cream. I grabbed coconut flavour by mistake, but it's also good, and saw a vegan strawberry flavour for the first time. The strawberry was not so good, but I will only appreciate the durian even more next time. Thanks, OP

Vanilla fudge ripple, dark chocolate, mint chocolate chip, oatmeal cookie (not dough), anything coffee-flavoured... I reserve the right to add more later...

This thread is traumatizing for me.Desserts are out of the question for me anymore. It's just a safety precaution. I usually go crazy on them if I start. But anyway. Let me hearken back to the old days (not long ago)when I used to have them often.

There used to be this crazy sundae called Death by Chocolate. Vanilla base. Loaded with chocolate chunks, chocolate syrup, chocolate cream, chocolate shavings, and they also had the option of adding even extra chocolate on top of it. And I used to take that option by the way. The other thing was this delicious pudding like soft caramel cake which they would serve warm And add a dollop of butterscotch ice cream on top of that.

I used to also have ice cream cakes. There was this phenomenal place that would sell these whole ice cream cakes in either half KG or one KG. I used to keep them in the freezer and cut a slice every day. They used to be like a stone. But you need to let them kind of sit out for around half an hour before you dig in. Only then they will soften up and be delicious.

I also used to order this insanely thick ice cream shake. When I say it's thick, I mean it's just absurd. They used to serve it with 1/2 inch straw because you couldn't suck it in other wise.I think it must have been 1000 calories🫩

There was another marshmallow ice cream I used to have.

But the absolute best that I've had in my life was this Belgian cold chocolate pie.It used to be this handbag like thing made of chocolate. A Small handbag. With the straps made of hard chocolate. The handbag would be made of ice cream covered with a soft chocolate shell.

The most absurd thing that I have eaten in my life, but they stopped making it. I literally sent emails to their customer support asking them to start it up again. They apologized and said they couldn't do it. I think it was too difficult to make or something, I'm not sure.

Hope I don't relapse...

I'm on a lifelong search for the best mint chocolate chip ice cream. Must be strong mint flavor with snappy chips.

Ice cream is one of my addictions. Rocky road, coffee, chocolate peanut butter, matcha, dark chocolate, anything involving caramel or peanut butter... it's more about well made ice cream than mix-ins for me, tho I am quite greedy with ice cream.

I tend to get popsicles, because they are pre-portioned & that alleviates temptation. Currently obsessed with taro ice cream pops.

Yeah, if I'm not mistaken they add a dollop of ice cream and beat it with a blender. At least that's what I've seen with a lot of shakes. I'm having the shakes myself right now because of the withdrawal from ice creams

granted i quit dairy but the best commercial is this salted caramel cashew stuff that's like a party in your mouth and everyone's banging. i fed it to some omnivores and they didn't realise it was vegan; i had to tell them.

that said it's not the best ice cream i've had. i'd rather eat star-quality icecream of a random flavor i'm indifferent to than ass quality of my preferred kind.
