Inevitable Lies
Why do we live?
For the ephemeral happiness?
Absurd gives birth to happiness,
Absurd is our mess.
Why do we live?
To attain eternal peace?
There's no future,
Awaken the inner freedom.
Why do we live?
To be with the one we love the most?
Well after-all,
A parasite needs a host.
Why do we live?
Is it because we deserve it?
Do we deserve to die?
Or was it all a lie?
Well, credit to one of my classmate (SK) for suggesting the title. Unfortunately, I cannot find a place to publish it without getting lost in the flood of other poems. Have a good day. I'll sleep.
I'm planning to hunt for a place where I can get this published, perhaps a newspaper works too. Please suggest if you know online websites or forums for poetry, that would be great. I'm thinking to write more poems related to death and suicide.
