I wish today were my last day, and that I could die without going through the process of destruction. A complete instantaneous loss of sensory awareness. I know that this is a utopia, and that death demands an enormous price, a visceral willpower that borders on madness, or economic resources for non-violent methods.

A lot of people here wish for that. It would be the ultimate solution. Family and friends will understand once we're gone.We won't have the stigma of taking our own life
Easiest way to bypass survival instinct too.

I feel the same. I know it won't happen, but every night I go to bed and desperately wish I won't wake up in the morning.

For me i really don't care but it will definitely be nice dying while doing a heroic act like the trope of the kid playing with a ball about to get hit by a car and you saved them by jumping to push him and you get hit instead

I feel like every suicidal person goes through the phase of wishing day in and day out that death comes and takes you. Unfortunately there comes a point where you realize that's a pipe dream that would never happen and you need to do the work and go chase after death yourself.

Well yes agreed . What life wants to create is life. We are all merely innocent bystanders...some lucky, some not.
