  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Anyone feel like your in prison with your family? My mother now lives with me full time , she is fully functional but she's an alcoholic who depends on me the kid she had then let be abused by my step-dad. I seriously wake up so triggered and as my ctb ( her birthday)inches closer I feel like I'm a prisoner to her. She will undoubtedly find me and I really don't care any more .. I have wanted out of this existence for along time. Being an addict is not an excuse I did drugs for the longest time and am now sober but still unhappy.

I have a shit relationship with all of my family members. It wouldn't be as bad if i didnt have to live with 2 of them full time, but the reality is that it will never change because the economy is shit and i dont have a stable job.

Wow. I'm sorry that you're in this position.

Being a parental caregiver is tough, it causes clinical depression and severe anxiety and it takes a toll on your heart and body.

I Googled "parental caregiver burnout" or "caregiver burnout" and the number to the national suicide prevention hotline came up.

It would be simple to say that since it's your house you can tell your mother to leave. But as horrible as parents can be they still have that psychological hold on us.

I don't know what emotional knots your mother has you in. Maybe she has nowhere else to go and you don't feel like you can't tell her to leave. Maybe her alcoholism has left her in a really bad state and, again, you don't feel like you can ask her to leave.

I'm sorry that you took the hard path to sobriety but that your emotional health and life still has not improved. That's rough.

It's not right that your mother has dumped herself, her life and her problems on you. That's not what parents are supposed to do.

I don't blame you for wanting to cbt. I've been there. I don't blame you.
