  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

It brings great hope believing in God, even though how difficult it may be in the current circumstance. But we who believe are certain that there are good things awaiting after the darkness. That one day it will all be made right again. This belief brings comfort, both existential and also during the sufferings we endure.

I've met many people before saying they really would like to believe, they just don't. There are different reasons for different people; for some it is life experiences, for others it is intellectual. If you want to believe, one thing you can do is actually go to Church and hear the Word. This is the main way the faith is imparted. Also, you might want to take a leap of faith and simply choose to believe, even if you don't fully 'know'. Feel free to message if you have any questions. Blessings to you!

I'm atheist and will never understand what strength there is in using an invisible friend as a crutch.

God is as real as Father Christmas, a figment of human imagination.

I'm sure the stories of the bible probably happended to some degree but with scientific rather than divine explanation.

can someone elaborate this part?
Shame on you = "You're not good enough." Parents, lawyers, politicians, medical practitioners, and classmates use shaming to shape the behavior of others (and, sometimes, of themselves). Because we separate ourselves into "in-groups," shaming is readily available to anyone with the aim of wielding power and privilege (which is the real object of religion; i.e., my beliefs are the right ones). When we internalize shaming, it becomes soul-crushing. If we adopt shaming into our patterns of thinking, we become our own worst enemies.

I do believe in God tbh. I just think that he hates me. And God does hate me.

I sure hope there is no agent behind this cruel, evil world. That would make him cruel and evil, too.

There is a god. He is evil. There is no reason to believe a world as hellish as this dosent just happen. God is real and evil. As Billy butcher said it: "God is a cunt"
