I was diagnosed recently, as a young adult. And only now have all my problems and difficulties, since childhood, made sense – it's not my bad character. I'm literally disabled. And no one has helped me for 20 years. And no one will help me, because it's incurable.

I don't want to live with this, I don't want to suffer. I see what my future will look like, and I don't want it. I want to die. Does anyone with autism feel similarly?

Yes. They didn't officially diagnosed me because I think the tests are fake here in France, but I'm neurodivergent for sure. When I truly realized it, everything made sense, and it made me more suicidal than ever. It's a logical feeling because we don't have the same brain. And normies cannot understand but they constantly judge us. "You're too shy, too sensitive, not strong enough" and all this bullshit.

hihi! i was also just diagnosed with autism bpd and adhd a month or two ago and i relate a lot to this

im also 20, it really does suck to know that this whole time my parents and society have been labeling me as useless or lazy or unable to socalize well and its kind of nice to know that it wasnt my fault, im literally disabled

at the same time, i dont think its neccesarily over, autism is very much treatable but it definetly takes a lot of energy which i do not really have,,

my future feels very bleak at times and its miserable, but ive heard good things about treatment for it! sometimes when we've been struggling with something invisible for very long it feels like it'll never get better, but thats just because we didn't even know we were struggling until now

i wish you luck in navigating how to treat autism, if you have the resources of course, sorry you have to go through this too 🫂

I was diagnosed with Autism at 23. Please know you aren't alone in feeling this way. I feel the same and it's really tough. I'm glad you have some answers now🤍
