Okay so I have read the PPH and all sorts of material here, and I cannot understand the rational of dying by SN poisoning. I'm not disparaging anybody's preference, I'm just trying to understand.

So even in the PPH, the author states that it's at least 15-20 minutes to unconscious, and in those minutes you're not exactly dying a peaceful death.

Full Suspension Hanging, with a Slipknot is 15 seconds, and yes it's not peacful but with the help of some drugs I don't think it will matter that much. I have access to those drugs;

Also I have access to SN.

I considered EB, but there too many factors that could go wrong and so currently it's not on the table.

The two main methods that I've been considering the last couple years were SN and partial suspension. I believe the reason why SN is so popular is because it's easier on our natural SI. I've attempted partial before, and you may know the scary sensation of shaking or vibration in your skin among other experiences which make those 15 seconds difficult to overcome. However, SN is much easier on our SI because its just a cocktail you have to put back and that's it. The next 20 minutes, you really can't do anything about it unless you induce vomiting.

Well, I've tried partial hanging and I can't make it work no matter what I do. I once thought I had it and I had the balls to "go through it" but then nothing happened lol. But yeah if you can pull off partial hanging flawlessly then it's probably a better way to go. I do wanna add I also think fucking around with hanging is kinda scary even just making attempts I always feel like I'm rolling the dice on brain damage or other shit like tinnitus and whatnot.

I'm so sorry I meant full suspension.
So sorry I meant full suspension, taking to of drugs, standing a stool, and loosing consciousness into the loop.

Gotcha. But FSH has its own issues, if you don't hit the carotid arteries you might instead suffocate to death which if the noose doesn't completely choke you, can take minutes or longer. A really bad way to go, I definitely would prefer SN over that but that's just me.

I think partial limits the blood flow into the brain but it's not enough. It's better to do it like that famous video on youtube: ''HOW THE CHOKING GAME KILLS DEMONSTRATED''. It is just scientifically incredible. Many do it to enjoy this. Very dangerous if no one knowledgeable is around.

With hanging, I worry about someone finding me for some reason and being "saved" but with brain damage.

I also worry about the feeling of being unable to breathe. It's something that is terrifying for me and I am sure it hurts.

Hanging may be faster and less painful overall, but... I also am not sure I could endure the pain.

With SN, it's like you just gulp it down and then it's usually too late... you can't easily undo it. Yes, methylene blue is the antidote, but even people who call 911 and try to undo the attempt often die. So with SN, there's a finality.

Don't get me wrong on this, SN scares the hell out of me too. Because people debate the level of pain caused by an SN attempt, and one of the things we don't know if how much it hurts when someone has O2 stats that are too low to communicate.

We have heard from some people who have survived the SN attempts and say it didn't hurt, but they may have survived because their O2 didn't drop as much.

I tried poisoning myself before and it hurt so bad, like millions of daggers being plunged into my abdomen. It was not fun, and worst of all was how people treated me after the attempt, people were so mean and indifferent to my pain at the hospital.

It wasn't with SN though, but I am definitely worried about attempting with SN.

There may be cases of people attempting with SN and surviving the attempt with major damage, but I haven't heard of it or read about it here.

I've never liked physical methods. Beyond the natural fear, they just don't seem to fit into my frame of reference, which is why I'm considering SN/Azide, even if they take longer. Yes, there are a couple of exceptions, but they also go hand-in-hand with chemistry - for example, drowning using drotaverine (I have personal experience with that, thanks to a failed attempt with drotaverine alone), or a firearm (but combined with Azide)

I haven't tried either yet but for reasons similar to above I had thought SN would be preferable because of SI and just getting it done. But recently after researching PSH I am leaning towards that as I don't need to obtain all these bits and pieces, and it is simpler. A big part for me is having space and privacy to not be found for a good while after my death, and also space to have a sort of pre-death ritual of some sort - SN seemed to fit well with that as it almost starts the clock ticking with a period of time to do some sort of closing out ritual. But I figured I can still do that with PSH.

A poison method is what I wish and hope for, to me hanging sounds like a agonising risky method and I'd fear it going wrong and leading to way more torture as a result, all I want is to take a poison so finally I can be at peace from this torturous, dreadful existence, I always suffer so much from how I cannot just access a method like SN.

What you wrote is extremely important to all of those trying to CTB using SN, although I did heard that the chances that for a person that have saved to have brain damage is extremely low relative to all the other methods.

I'd prefer to do hanging or CO if i can get the items without raising suspicions around me. Also the place and how to do it is what stops me from doing those. SN is super scary for me but i don't have other options.

Hanging would be one of the last methods I'd try. I have mild dyspraxia and struggle with motor skills. I feel like I'd really have trouble executing a plan. Also I would prefer any pain over the feeling of being choked. I'd still try hanging if nothing else was available, but I would much prefer SN.

Is it even possible to fsh without hitting the the carotid arteries if you put knot behind back of the head? It seems like rope will always end up there bc of gravity.

Even so, to have some poison slowly over AT LEAST 20 mins, cause your red blood cells to not be able to carry oxygen and turn all blue is sound much horrific and I but that's a big reason why people that we hear about still hang and not using SN.

I dunno, I think it's just really specific to each person.

For SN, I imagine burning throat, vomiting, dizziness, a high heart rate, breathing faster, passing out. It's not like I can actively feel my red blood cells not being able to carry oxygen, and it's not like turning blue is gonna hurt.

For hanging, all I can imagine is the discomfort of the rope material around your neck, of your own weight pulling you down, and, even worse, the immense head pressure/eye-pressure and choking feeling if you don't get it right.

Plus with SN I can lie down and close my eyes. Hanging is upright, and not even standing, it feels unnatural

But the hanging is only 30 seconds tops; SN, the discomfort of your symptoms will make you restless, not laying down peacefully.

Okay, but you can overcome this with heroin, for example, which is often easier to get than SN nowadays.

See, for me the 30 seconds of hanging discomfort (is it really only 30 seconds?) seems worse than whatever seems to be going on with SN. I think it's just because some bodily sensations are worse to handle for some than others.

Usually way less than 30 seconds if you do it correctly. Shouldn't take more than 15 seconds to pass out, as I understand it.

Hanging scares me but I may not have another option seeing as how difficult it's been for me to find SN in Canada. I just can't figure out the B&M source. I ordered from MIC but they cancelled it because they're afraid of our customs catching it. Really hope I'll find a way to figure the brick and mortar product real soon
