Story I tried partial hanging today

So my attempt fucked up today.
Managed to pass out, only one of the hooks I was using to anchor to ripped out of the wall. Must have the jerk from me slumping, released the pressure and I came around whilst standing back up...surreal moment as I wasn't fully aware of why I was standing up.
Wasn't until I was fully conscious again I realised what must have happened.
Tried a further few times. But I've damaged throat. (Must have been choking, maybe struggling). So further attempts were painful and wouldn't allow me to slip unconscious again as my body was clearly in alarm mode.

Damn I'm sorry to hear that your plan didn't work out, that sounds quite distressing and frustrating. How are you feeling and what do you think you will do now?

Feeling very frustrated. Looks as though will have bide time and go back to exit bag plan. So annoying as I was fully out and had the hook not pulled I would of gone peacefully. But can't try again as I've done some real damage to inside my throat on my left side like I got something hard stuck in my throat.
But it's now so painful when I try the noose. So I need something thats not gonna so much alarm.

I'm sorry you have been through a failed attempt. I can imagine it must be awful. We all deserve the option of euthanasia, we should not have to resort to methods that can fail. I hope you find the peace you are looking for.

Does anyone know what I might of done to my throat. It's painful to swallow. Been about 8hrs since I did it and it's no better?

I failed hanging too. I wish it worked. Now am scared to try again. Before getting ill and suicidal I used too think it was easy when you hear another's doing it. When it comes to wanting to die and try suicide its a different kettle of fish.

Probably is just sore, take some ibuprofen for a couple of days, sleep, drink wather
Do you feel pain in your body extremities nerves and headhache? I tried this method too some time ago.. totally normal to feel scared of what damage been done.. but its probably just that, temporary discomfort

Sounds very painful, sorry your going through that. it's one of things that bothers me about partial. You can't really try it several times before your body fights back.

I agree, felt so disappointed though when I realised I'd gotten through the worst part and was totally out not sure how long for but couldn't of been long.
But it was long enough for the hook to pull, me not to hear or sense it had happened. I guess 15 - 30 secs.
If only it would of held I was gone, I'd done it.
Trying again though was so futile as my throat was injured and my body was clearly on high alert as to what I was upto and would not so easily let me keep the pressure on long enough to pass out again SI was on high alert.

Think I need to go back to exit bag plan now as now my body sensed how close I got. I think a less physical approach is maybe a better way bypass SI.
