  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

with partial hanging. I lost the coordination of my arms and legs while being fully conscious, and I struggled to take the noose off, a few seconds more and I could have died while being conscious and unable to control my limbs. lots of panic. Also the rope restricts the airways so it's not calming at all, and it seems that I not able to restrict the carotid arteiries but only the veins, so it's much more uncomfortable. I still feel weak and sleepy from the oxygen deprivation. I wish I had the courage and a quicker method. also it's less uncomfortable if you put something around your neck, and then you put the rope on top of that.

There is an issue with your procedure. I'm sure you'll figure it out.

That sounds really horrible what you went through. That method sounds like such an unpleasant way to go. I'm sorry for all the suffering that has brought you to this point. I wish you the best in whatever happens.

Yes it was a horrible experience, now I understand why in the guide it says not to try it unless you're sure. I lost control of my arms and legs and I couldn't get up, being fully conscious and struggling to take the noose off. I thought I would just pass out BEFORE losing the control of my limbs. That wasn't the case.

Eventually I was able to free myself, and then I was quite weak and tired from the oxygen deprivation. I wish I had the courage to go through it or I wish I had a gun. THanks for your words, I wish you as well good things. I wouldn't wish this to my worst enemy.

That honestly sounds terrifying. I hope you'll get better soon and, no matter what direction you end up going in, you feel peace in your next moves.

Thank you, I just wish I was dead naturally from a heart attack or something. I have health issues from many years. I wish you well as well. Nobody should suffer this way, not even to the worst criminals I'd give what I have.

I have literally tried partial hanging about 100 times and never had that happen to me. It's odd how some people die or almost die on their first attempt, and others can't even on their 100th. I almost wonder if there's an anatomical difference in necks, like maybe some people have really big veins/airways or they are really deeply situated or their muscles protect the veins/airways. Especially considering some people can just one day impulsively grab a belt and be dead half an hour later and some people follow ten different tutorials and still fail no matter what kind of materials or knot positions they use or where they hang from.

I'm sorry you had to experience that. Losing control of your body is always terrifying. I really wish there was a better way to ctb. I mean there are SN and N etc., but they are hard to obtain for many.
