I doubt that any petition would ever change how anti-suicide this society is.
The problem is that the society needs slaves so as a result there's a lack of compassion towards the suffering that people go through, it's such a hellish world where we cannot reliably escape from it in peace.

There is a very good reason behind the anti-suicide community as there are people who are very prone to persuasion or "following the crowd"
Which makes them think killing themselves is ok.
