I think I've finally made up my mind. I'm going in two months

It's bittersweet. It's taken a serious, depressing argument with my girlfriend to get me to this point. Contrary to what she believes, I do still care to some degree which is why I'll CTB in a place where she doesn't have to find my body. My father is much more capable of handling that. I could do it in a hotel I guess, but it's my (maybe fucked up way) of saying goodbye to my dad for the last time. I want to be near him when I die.

Good on you for not letting your girlfriend find you. I found my boyfriend dead by suicide. He had mental health issues before we met and it was so traumatizing I've never been ok since. I didn't even want to live in the house anymore. When I read stuff people want to hang themselves right in the entry way so their parents or someone will find them when they come in I feel it's just so beyond fucked up to do that to someone unless you really want revenge and they were horrible abusers.

It's been nice having you here so will be sad to see you go if you decide this is best.
