  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

There was a recent debate in my country about it. It was the biggest chance for maybe the coming decades to achieve the right for a dignified death. The media and many politicians agitated against liberal assisted suicide laws. So eventually there was no majority for it.

I was pretty fucking disappointed and sort of lost hope for a new bill. Usually the conservatives rule the country a leftist government is very seldom so the chance seems to be gone.

I think in many instances the intend of elites is counterproductive. I would like to have a conversation with a counselor that is open to any outcome of my life. The current ones block the idea of assisted suicide immeditately. I don't really have the will for such a conversation where the outcome is already set. So I prefer to talk with people online about my death. Lol.

In case there would be new laws I would probably be willing to wait for them. I would prefer an official way out a lot. Without new bills suicide is still a grey area. Assisted suicide organization demand way too much money for me. I would be willing to go through the process. Even if the chance to get it would not be fully sure. I think it would alleviate the pain to kill myself if the state offered me a dignified way out.

Though this seems unrealistic now. As I said I would probably (have) waited until the bill was in law. Moreover with the current state I am so anxious that the access to peaceful methods gets more and more restricted. I think this could speed down the process in my case. Suicide is often in my mind as my last exit. The knowledge there was a way out in case I needed it is relieving. So suicide is also associated with security. In case i have to leave my apartment it could become very difficult to order SN. Moreover after the recent incidents I am scared to order it and then law enforcement is in front of my builidng. So maybe my choice not to order it so far was a wise decison.

As the title is says. It sounds paradoxical but it is sort of true. The date of my suicide is not in sight though. But the recent events which occured in my private life scared the shit out of me.

I really do think it would be a relief for so many suffering people knowing they have the option of a guaranteed peaceful way out, it's inhumane how assisted suicide still isn't legalised everywhere, the lack of a peaceful exit for people just leads to unnecessary torture and that's tragic to me.
