so my psych knows i browse these sites daily and today she asked to actually see them and i agreed. idk it was just a little fucked up showing her sasu and especially wpd >w< now my homework is to explore why i frequent these sites etc etc TwT she didn't flinch or try to pathologize it, just dropped straight into dbt mode: what function are these spaces serving, what's the trigger cycle (as if there is any lol)

Showed my one my previous professional fosters. I was a bit of an ass and told them I was telling people to die, even though I actually wasn't doing it directly (They did think this website's very existance always passively encourage suicide however)

My suicide helpline endorsed Sasu and told me to continue using it.

I found this website with a google search, without even knowing it existed - I was just looking for information about suicide techniques. It's hardly the dark web, people already know this is around.

well, the fine print is yes, this site *is* accessible from the clearweb and even from search engines, but "only" from alternative ones (ddg and yandex come into mind). Google doesn't index it as far as I know.

However, more than 90% of the searches come through Google, so most people do not get SaSu in their results so it might as well not exist for them. Luckily, that also includes most of the people who wish for this site not to exist!

Telling any psych that you frequent this site, is a bad idea if your intent is to ctb at some point.

If you're trying to break free from this site (and wpd) then it could be a good idea. Depends what your goal is really.

Don't beat yourself up over this, it seriously doesn't fucking matter.

The site has already been written about in major news articles. You telling one psych professional about it does not make a lick of difference in terms of the site being taken down. People already know that it exists.

If you felt like being honest with your psych was the right thing to do, great. It's nobody's business but your own. You get decide what feels right for you.

The worse case scenario is that you end up taking a trip to the psych ward because they believe you are an immediate danger to yourself. But that's something that doesn't affect people on here. You didn't do anything to anyone on here, you don't need to apologize to us.

Showed up in a google search for me, that's actually how i originally found this place. I was trying to find lostallhope but instead got a thread from here talking about that site going down.
