That's Beachy Head baby! Very accessible. Especially now lockdown's being eased. She's a real beauty for sure; I've got to at least pay her a visit at some point this spring.Astonishing!!!
Well at this point on the headland we're talking about around 400ft. But alas still no one can answer your question for sure but my feeling is as long as one doesn't land on one's feet one will surely face instant lights out.Now falling from a height like that, does one die instantly or does one writhe around in pain for a while before dying?
From the highest spot on beachy head it should be instant even if you don't land on your head, the force of the deceleration could easily rip your organs away from the major arteries. Now falling from a height like that, does one die instantly or does one writhe around in pain for a while before dying?
Instant? I thought it would be several seconds. I'd have to be so drugged up and tumble over either way lol. From the highest spot on beachy head it should be instant even if you don't land on your head, the force of the deceleration could easily rip your organs away from the major arteries.

Yes it is, and that spot near the lighthouse is the place to go isn't it?Are you sure it's Beachy Head?
I've considered going there, but never thought for a second it was as beautiful as this.
No doubt!Yes it is, and that spot near the lighthouse is the place to go isn't it?
No idea.No doubt!
Is it a sheer drop, though, or would you be ripped to pieces on the way down?
Anyway, how about doing SN while sat here, taking in the view?
You would get found and interrupted, no?No doubt!
