So yeah lately i have been seeing faces and shadows in the corner of my eyes. Should I be worried? When I focus on them theyre gone. I just notice i see them a lot more lately. Anything I can do? Do i need meds for this?

Firstly, how has your sleep been? Have you taken any recreational drugs? Those are common reasons of perceptual disturbances - at least for me.

Does seeing the faces and shadows interfere with your ability to function? Do you find them bothersome?

If the answer is yes to both questions, and you have been getting 7+ hours of sleep nightly for the last several weeks with minimal drug use, I'd suggest talking to your GP about this. They will likely prescribe you an antipsychotic, if I had to guess. But who knows, they may surprise you with something that will actually help and not ruin your quality of life. Keep us updated.

I see full people and hear stuff sometimes cus of neurological issues. They can be hallucinations, if you're particularly worried about them you can consult a dr

A friend of mine used to have a strikingly similar problem. Ultimately medication helped her (I forget the name of the drug she was placed on, but I believe it was an antipsychotic).

Just a forewarning - prolonged exposure to antipsychotics can sometimes result in manifestation of Tardive Dyskinesia, which is an irreversible condition.

My sleep is kind of unstable. Not only do i sleep very late in the morning but sometimes i cant sleep at all. I think i will get some sleep tonight though. Its just strange since i have had times where i didnt sleep for 2 days and still had no weird visuals. Im not worried though. It doesnt bother me that much. If it starts being a problem i will take some antipsychotics.

It's an acquired disorder that results in involuntary movements of one's face and sometimes their body. It is a form of torture to live with.

A normal function of the human brain is called pareidolia. It's what causes you to see faces in something or thinking you heard something you might not have. If you're noticing this happening more and are experiencing stress or trauma there could be something really wrong. I'd suggest seeing a doctor.

I was referring to the potential side effects from antipsychotics. If you aren't on any right now then it likely isn't related.

I guess it sounds like no big deal then. It could be signs that there are other issues, or maybe it's nothing. How you take it or what you do is all up to you.

Life was a mistake

Hallucinations are more common than people realize. They can be frightening experiences, and few people openly talk about it," Dr. Kelleher observed in an interview for International Business Times.

"Our research is valuable because it can show them they are not alone and that having these symptoms is not necessarily associated with having a mental health disorder..."

Many of the hallucinations that people might experience are, in fact, of the run-of-the-mill variety. For example, a vague sensation that you have heard the phone ringing when no one actually called or catching the shadow of a silhouette from the corner of the eye when there is no one there.

What you describe does not sound like anything to be concerned about. It is most likely the result of stress and lack of sleep and can happen to anyone. If it becomes any more intense or elaborate then it might be something to be concerned about.

Do you have restless leg syndrome?
I dont think so. My theory of whats happening is that my body is shutting down certain bodyparts to fall asleep. I dont care enough to research it tbh.

Are you lacking sleep and do you have thoughts of it just before it appears? Might just be stress man.

I heard that lack of sleep can give you hallucinations. Do you lack time to sleep or is it insomnia?
