An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
and thinking adults knew everything. I trusted them. They understood how the world worked and had all the answers.
I'm 27 and still feel like a child looking for the adult to help me
35 - I think the undiagnosed autism had a big role but for most people it's childhood trauma. You end up being fixed to that time point and don't "grow out" from it mentally.
So your example of having trust and it being broken (or outright lies) and rewired your brain to now see that for what it is.
To the masses grow up means - shut up, get a crappy job, be grateful you have a crappy job and slave away until it destroys your body. Same thing with the whole being "independent". If you are fucked from jobs, bills, debt, etc as long as you live on your own - you are an adult - congratulations- you beat the game of life - do
Not pass go. lol clown world.
