I read this Reddit thread that made me realize how quickly I will disappear

I wouldn't ever expect anyone who wasn't my friend (not acquaintances) or a member of my family to care more than a week if that. I don't know what people expect honestly. However, it does infuriate me that people pretend to care when they really do not give a fuck. I would feel insulted by that if I wasn't dead.

Same. I think when you're REALLY serious about suicide, thoughts like that shouldn't be an issue.
