Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I feel heartbroken, really. I know it's just a dog, but she's mine! And I'm going to miss her so, so much. But I know I can't choose to just let her live, because that would be a cruelty to her when she's suffering.

It feels a bit strange, for me to consider death something so important and beautiful, and to then feel so despaired when it happens to something I love. But feelings can be difficult, and all I can do is just push through it, I spose.

I do not believe in any form of afterlife, but I kind of wish there was one solely so that I could be with her again. I'd certainly kill myself sooner just to follow her.

Im rlly sorry, a dog dying is inevitable unfortunately, but it's still awful. A dog is never just a dog I think, they're like family members, I like my dog way more than most of my relatives. I mean yea sure it's unlikely, but mby there's a dog heaven for all the good bois, who knows. I'm truly sorry u have to put yours down

My dog passed away 2 years ago - I've hanged in to support my cousin but every day has been hell without my Tasha. She's the only one who really cared about me. I can't afford another dog but I hope you will be able to. Life is hard enough for us as it is but without a furry companion life is just one cruel malicious joke. For 30 years always had a collie by my side. I have to believe my girls are waiting for me and when I cbt I will be thinking solely of being with them once again.

update, for anyone curious: upon the visit, after doing an exam, the vet felt optimistic. we're going to give her 2 more weeks on meds, and see if she feels better then.

I posted here in suicide discussion because it felt like the last straw before I would truly kill myself, but now, I guess I have to push through for 2 more weeks so that I can be there with her till she dies. I love that dog, and I'm lucky for every moment I get with her.

It's not just a dog, they are better then humans. Companions for their short life. Always there to back you up if you are in danger or whatelse. It takes a big heart to choose the dog is suffering to much and let them put down but it is sometimes in their best interests.

I know it is really hard by experience, don't blame yourself and choose what is best for your best friend❤️

I really hope she improves and gets to enjoy more time with you, it's so hard waiting and not knowing what is best for them. They don't want to leave us so will put up with much suffering in silence just to hang on here with us and try to make us happy 😞
