Beneath the surface of the skin, there are mechanoreceptors that receive tactile information through contact. When these tactile receptors interact with things, they send signals to the brain and alter biopsychological functioning, releasing chemical charges. Nature itself instilled this sensory-psychological need to relieve emotional tension through friction. I have been deprived of this stimulus my whole life, in so many different ways. That's why I hate seeing those who possess it, while I deform myself.
