How does depression affect on your weight?
Are you losing/gaining some weight?

Well, I have always been extra thin despite eating two to three times much as a normal person. But lately, barely eat at all. Usually once a day, sometimes not at all for days. And definitely losing weight. Starting to physically look like literal death....

same here. I eat once a day. I don't eat much at all. I have no appetite for any kind of food.

I lost 12kg in a month thanks to depression. I dont think its just from lack of eating its also from lack of movement which causes muscle wastage.

I've never had any weight loss like that, if anything depression has made me gain weight. I lost some 8-10kg last year, but that was mostly a combination of starting Wellbutrin and some conscious effort. Nowadays, I go back and forth between eating my feelings and barely eating at all because it's too much work. Overall I'm maintaining, but I also always feel like shit. :)

Depression doesn't really effect my body but stress absolutely destroys me for example since late last year the universe started really taking the piss out of me and a couple of months ago my skin broke out in cystic acne, eczema, hair loss, dry ear, eyes, mouth nose, guns and teeth rotting.
Usually I'm average strength man 195lbs 18% body fat that quickly turned to soft, water bloated, flab so you could say 20lbs of muscle (good weight) lost in 2 months. Because I can barely eat due to nausea. From experience in the past if I do eat (comfort eating) even just an extra 1000 calories the weight piles on out of thin air a lb every couple of days when usually it's takes 3500 calories over a period of 5 days to gain 1 pound.
This life computer system is extremely cruel and flawed... Ay least make nature something we can rely on.... No human cruelty has become nature.... Well it always was but you know what i mean.

I manage to eat food okay, but I really don't enjoy it. I think a few years ago I went through a period of time where I could barely eat anything at all. Being this way has made me lose weight.

I force myself to eat some days. I have found that if I stick to eating clean, meaning nothing packaged, and only real food such as fruit and vegetables I can get enough nutrition.

Usually, stress and depression made me very hungry, I was hungry all the time - I struggled to keep the weight down even though I was working out 5 times a week and mostly eating clean.

In the last few weeks, there has been a weird shift. Since my depression got even worse, I am no longer hungry all the time. Even eating my favourite things, like chocolate, doesn't bring pleasure anymore - I just feel nauseous. The weight loss is not dramatic though, only 2kg in a few weeks, some of which might be muscle since I stopped working out.

Gaining weight because of fuckin olanzapine. Otherwise I constantly lose weight. Was losing a stone per week at one point. My insides are so fucked up that if I eat more than 1200 calories per day I start ballooning in weight.

I have went from one extreme to another. I lost tons of weight and became skeletal and now I have gained too much weight from over-eating.
