Notice how the family doesn't think "Geez, we must be a pretty awful family if one of us screams at us that they want to kill themselves, we should try and be better and more supportive people, maybe they would be less suicidal"? Yeah.
What I've learnt of humans is that they often forget everything quickly. Give it two weeks and they have probably forgotten everything. Someone gave a good tip "Everyone remembers all the embarrassing stuff they've done, but usually no one remembers any embarrassing stuff others have done."
I have told lots of people billions of times that I want to kill myself and they still act as if it was some new fashion statement. They are either surprised as if it was a new thing, or they ignore me, or they say "if you really wanted to die, you'd have died already".
Remember, you aren't a burden. It's not like you forced your parents to have heterosex and breed and give birth to you.
