Story I just remembered that I was at the aftermath of a terror attack when I was 11

I didn't think about this for so long, years probably, but for some reason I've been remembering it for the last couple of days. In June 2015, I was in our districts capital with my parents to do some shopping. Well, on this day, a man drove through the main shopping street (pedestrian street) in the city targeting pedestrians and killing or injuring them. After he was arrested, it was later discovered that he had some pretty close ties to know IS-members. Anyways, I was in this street prob 5 or sth minutes after this had happened, there weren't yet any police or medics, injured and dead people were laying throughout the whole street, people sobbing left and right. I remember that I couldn't look away, even though my parents tried to make me look away. It's weird, I didn't think about it for so long, but I still can remember it pretty vividly
