I did something similar when I had an N stash circa 2016; I kept filling up a dosing cup each night just about, and would have the deepest, most peaceful sleep. Ah, N is amazing. Anyhow, from a research standpoint, yeah..you're microdosing SN. It's almost like you're conditioning your stomach in a way.

I wish you well and hope you don't experience much more discomfort (ie pukey feeling).

That actually sounds pretty amazing.

I rarely get them unfortunately, like once every few years, but a peaceful and amazing sleep is such a wonderful thing to experience.

Ugh, I'm sorry to hear of your sleep troubles. Not being able to sleep is awful and yes, when I do get to, I cherish the experience.

I wish us all peace like that. I hear Seconal is similar to Nembutal (not as strong obviously), and if I could get a prescription for it.....sigh.

I'm not sure they prescribe it much if at all anymore. Another one of those amazing Benzos.

You mean Barbs ;)

Not prescribed anymore . Perhaps for severe/specific cases of epilepsy or cluster headaches (really bad) , and even then you don't get at in the pharmacy ..

Oh yeah sleep yes .. I think most SS is sleep deprived ... ahhh

Interesting. You have my curiosity peaked. Keep us posted if you keep micro dosing.

It's really important not to confuse something like SN with something like LSD. Microdoses of LSD can produce real mood-boosting effects, and a deadly OD is impossible. LSD is a drug but not a poison. Assuming you use SN outside of intended purposes, it's pretty much always a poison - which is exactly how it works for ctb. Chemically speaking it's a lot closer to detergent suicide than N or F. It doesn't have any health benefits, and not in the same way LSD "doesn't have any health benefits." That's the DEA; SN is just chemistry.

FYI. I found this while sorting some resources. It's from the Australian Journal of Medicine. I don't know the date but I think it's from a long time ago. I don't think it's available anywhere online.

So he was just sick?
It doesn't track him after the ER, but it sounds like he left with low-level methoglobinemia and no apparent long term damage. So you're probably right, he was just really sick but not on death's doorstep. I don't think SN works like arsenic, where it builds up in your blood stream over time and eventually gets so concentrated you can't survive. You either live or die based on an acute OD, and without much risk of brain damage, which would be rare for a ctb chemical. At the same time, you could hit that OD by accident, even with 1g. I think the lethal human dose is 4g, but it doesn't have to be that high to kill you. That's just a general measurement that scientists use because they don't have anything better.

I guess you have to take the right dose all at once or it wouldn't work as a reliable method.

This seems like the case, for sure.

I am so curious about the long-term effects and potential tolerance build up of doing small doses regularly over a period of time.

I am in a similar circumstance I asked Stan about and his opinion was there was no tolerance build up, with the caveat that he was open to correction, so it's still not entirely clear what the definitive answer is.

Yeah I have always thought SN basically turns you into a dead smurf, one of the less appealing aspects of the method to me. I don't want to look like papa smurf when I am dead.

DSM = dead smurf method

I actually wonder this too

No this would not build a tolerance. SN affects the chemical reaction and transfer of oxygen, and you can't really build a tolerance for this process. If anything OP is just making the body work a little bit harder to convert back to hemoglobin. It's not enough to cause any harm.

Nervous for CTB if sn tastes too awful to finish so I was wondering about the taste

lol the irony.

So it will taste salty.

Ah well that's interesting. Has there been anyone who died from just 1g or so?

It was shown (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24947405) that chronic ingestion of small doses of SN can harm health and even induce chromosomal aberrations (in mice). Humans can suffer from similar effects.

It's only one case though. Unless there were at least 100 or more cases, it's probably better to take the best lethal amount so as not take risks. (unless one has morbid curiosity and whatnot)
