Venting I hate the "you are not alone" massages in online spaces

It is so fake and not real i see my life i see how alone i am if i commit suicide people would be sad for like 5 mimutes and then just move on.
I am alone i have no one i don't want you to lie to me and insult my own inteligince so that you can feel good about yourself for comforting the poor suicidal dude that wants to kill himself.

Yeah, it's better to accept the truth and be ok with it than to indulge in that nonsensical copium that will inevitably leave you disappointed cause it's just straight lies.

I also think they just want you to get a parasocial thing going with them, so you'd become their follower and stuff. They are basically trying to use people who are in a vulnerable state.

No one truly cares empathy is a myth unless you are popular and have something to give to others people will never care about you

im literally ctb because the people I trusted and loved most turned on me and traumatised the f out of me, i thought they cared about me so much but then they hurt me so so bad and abandoned me, I can barely function now im so hurt. It's dark but in a way i feel when i ctb i will 'win', becuase i wont have to suffer anymore, and they wont be able to brush of what they did to me. they knew i am suicidal because of what they did and just ignored me. when they find out i have ctb they will have to face what they did. or perhaps they will just say i was just crazy and it had nothing to do with them. either way i wont have to suffer remembering what they did and said to me and how they isolated me. i cant wait to go to sleep for the last time. alone!!

I understand what you are going through i went through something similar people are fake they probably won't care about you ctb if you want to do it do it for yourself to end your own suffering doing it for others is not worth it because people are heartless

Its been at least 1 month since anybody asked how my day/week has been. Its been at least 3 months since anyone asked anything more than the obituary how are you.
Ive been invited once, this year to do/attend something. Despite multiple times suggesting, inviting arranging doing things with others. Its been 3 months since I gave up asking due to the excuses, cancellations and declines.
All the people I thought I was closest to have stopped responding and ghosted me this year. Despite knowing my mental health challenges and the you are not alone/Im here if you want to talk comments.
Its all BS.

The only time I feel ok and that people are genuine is when Im dreaming. Waking up is a daily disappointment

I was off work for a period of time over the summer due my mental health. Since being back I was having regular 121's for a weeks. No matter if I say Im ok or finding things hard or struggling in general or with something in particular. I always get a mixture of you seem to be doing well, work is challenging and finding things hard at the moment is understandable, you just need to take things a day at a time...

it always seemed really performative to me. like, everybody says "you are not alone" but the minute you display symptoms that aren't cute to them (like being too depressed to eat or shower) you're shunned. a lot of people i know view me as a useless junkie, but still parrot that kind of stuff... i don't get how they're not embarassed.

I'm alone, but feel less alone on this forum, knowing I'm not the only suicidal person here. Nobody can empathise if they haven't been suicidal. If I say to someone here you are not alone, I mean I can relate to wanting to die. Most people irl can't relate. Even here we all have different circumstances, and not everyone can relate to the same things, but most of us have the one thing in common that brought us to the same place.

I haven't decided what is worse:

1. People who don't care and actively show you.
2. People who don't care but pretend so they can appear "nice."
3. People who care but don't understand and can't really help.

There seems to be no fourth option where someone cares and can help. That's what we need. That's what never exists. The rest aren't even band-aids on the problem.

I liked what Asmongold said there's a billion people in the world, if you kill yourself that's just natural selection. Everyone will just keep living their lives.

I like to say no one can care for long because they'll have to quit caring in order to keep themselves alive, or they'll die of suicidal crisis syndrome.

The can't care for long reminds me of how crisis hotline works will get empathy fatigue. I wonder if a lot of mental health works, for every 97 nice suicidal people they meet, they meet a few bad ones that like hit them or something turning them into cold callous robotic mental healthcare workers.
