I saved up money and got plastic surgery, but I can't honestly tell you whether it's worth it or not. I did it for myself, not for men, though I have always been bullied for my appearance ever since I was a little girl. Getting the surgery made me look a bit less sickly as it fixed a droop/facial asymmetry, so in that aspect it was very beneficial for my self esteem.
While I do look better, it didn't achieve the ideal aesthetic I wanted, and there are still many aspects of my appearance that are unappealing and unattractive, like having an underdeveloped jaw. If I had more money, I would probably get more enhancements. Once you start, it is hard to stop, imo, because there's only so much that can be done.
Though I will warn you if you have plastic surgery in most Asian countries, they aren't going to give you very much in terms of pain relief, and you might even be semi-conscious during the procedure unless you're having a rhinoplasty or jaw surgery. It was really scary for me.
I had a procedure that is not supposed to be that painful, but I still had a lot of pain and swelling for a long time because they barely prescribe pain medication there. So that's just something to be aware of if you're serious about cosmetic surgeries and procedures, it is pretty painful and it can often take months to see the final result and know if you're happy with it.
