Propaganda about how God has a purpose for them even though they have either cancer, lost a limb, lost their parents, or are having bad financial problems.

So they had to go through unjustified trauma while others have positive experiences ? Give me a fucking break you religious morons, God is selective with who he chooses to bless and some people are not selected

Okay maybe this is a tad bit biased and off topic, but I notice some of the most insufferable and judgemental evil people are always heavily involved in some type of Christianity or Islamic practice.

Like I find it hard to find a child predator who wasn't heavily tied to a Christian or Muslim religious group, and I also find that a lot of weirdly abusive parents tend to be of these religions, and the abuse is very specific. Like they withhold food as punishment, they take them out of school so they don't learn about other cultures or religions, and they force their kids to mature really quickly and "fend" for themselves in a way that's not helpful but just cruel. (Ex; Ruby 8 passengers)

I'm with you on everything you said up to the last statement. There is no god. The entire concept is outdated and was only "created" to explain the unexplainable before we knew better. We know better now, but many people cling to the hope of everlasting life. The concept of god is the only way to allow that possibility.

Yeah that's the unfortunate truth. Religion was created as a propaganda device to control and manipulate people into submission.
