Signed his DNR. He just wants comfort care. Pain management, bathroom help, etc. He doesn't want to get better. I've already lost my mom. Now I'm watching my dad die from alcoholism too.

He treated me like shit for all of my life. Constantly abused me. But still, he's my dad. Before he started drinking he was a pretty good person. Driven, caring, creative, inventive. Then he turned angry. Violent. Aggressive.

I guess in a way he's already dead. He died a long time ago. Now it's just catching up with him.
