Hello, I wanted to share some success I have had that is relevant to this community.
Tomorrow, on September 12th, the Medical Aid in Dying Bill officially becomes law in Illinois. This law gives qualified terminally ill patients the option to seek medication that allows them to end their lives on their own terms.
I played a major role in getting this bill passed and a large part of my motivation was this community and the people here. Its amazing to see something I believe in so strongly become reality and so I wanted to come share and celebrate with all of you.
