Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

It's really accessible here in my place. I've sent it back two times now - once before entrance exams for my uni (because i wanted to give it a chance) and second time after them, mainly because i'm just scared of it somehow leaking or contaminating something in my house lmao. I know im being paranoid but it's quite unnerving to have a deadly poison in your room when you're OCD. I got accepted into uni, but i don't know if i'm really satisfied with my major. I got accepted into computer science. I really like math and logical thinking, so CS seems really interesting to me, but i'm fucking scared about employment. I have no idea how the market looks now, but people on the internet describe it as hell. On one hand that's anegdotal evidence, but really there are so many people warning about trying to go IT that it makes me nervous about studying this degree. I'm scared of simply wasting my time. I also signed myself for automation and robotics, and data engineering, but as for now i didn't get accepted to those two. CS doesn't seem 'boring' to me, I think it's really interesting but im really worried about my future. It's a decent uni, but god knows what the future job market will look like.

Well, I can't say with 100% certainty what the rest of the job market looks like, but from my perspective, it doesn't seem to be doing too badly. Obviously, I imagine it will always be harder for people looking for their first job, but if you can get a good internship or even some kind of work experience while you're in college, that can be a great starting point once you graduate. I'm a CS graduate myself, and I don't think it's a waste of time, especially if it's a field you're interested in.

I'd say it's normal to worry about the future, but I think you'll have opportunities.
