Venting I fucking hate traffic

I hate cars, I hate traffic, I hate the way traffic makes people behave, I hate walking in traffic, I hate being in or near cars.
This wouldn´t be such a fucking issue if our entire society didn´t revolve around transportation.
I tried taking courses in an area i´m interested in, but even walking and taking the bus there makes me stressed. Today a guy told me to go fuck myself because apparently i crossed when the lights were green or something and I'm still thinking about it. I think there was no signaling telling the pedestrians it was safe to cross.
I swear I'm never putting my hands on a steering wheel.

I drive a car and honestly sometimes I hate it. It can be nice to drive when there is no traffic, but when there is lots of other cars around me it sucks. I'm jealous of people who can get around without driving sometimes, even though I do like having a car when I buy my alcohol at the gas station. I guess being a driver is a double edged sword.

I hate driving with a passion. But I think I hate public transport more. Around the main town bus station theres always trouble. I have to drive in rush hours to get to work and I get so frustrated. Usually if I drive to get groceries I'll go later in the evening to avoid heavy traffic. Theres so many incompetent drivers on the road. I wish I could not drive but its convenient.

I hate it too. Putting a human being inside a metal box with four wheels often brings out the worst in them, for some reason. It's odd. I've seen drivers yell, get angry, and be extremely disrespectful to others. Don't even get me started on the ones who hoon around and drive erratically, I've seen plenty of those. Of course, they hardly ever face any consequences for it.

Traffic is the worst, because if you live in a city you have to experience it every day, so that means that every day you are prone to coming across a really mean person that can just yell and honk at you all because you are not fast enough on the crossing (Like, do these idiots expect me to start running???) God i fucking hate living in a city. This is inevitable.

I don't mind driving. But I have some rants about it. When all the fucking snow birds from up north come down to my area, its fucking hell. Half these mother fuckers can't drive for shit, and they act like you're the problem. Not to mention, if you don't start moving the millisecond a light turns green, they fucking beep at you. Also my town decides that the best time to do maintenance/construction on roads and close certain roads is when these fuckers are down here, so it only makes shit worse... Also 2026 gas prices don't help to make shit any better. I considered an EV but don't have the money for a new car in general. Also being behind or in between two trucks is the wost thing, especially when they decide to drive 20 MPH when the limit is 45 MPH...

So many people get on my ass because I don't drive double the speed limit and run through red lights. And then don't get me started with the idiots on their phones. I hope self driving vehicles can take over one day, even if they aren't perfect. They could very well cause less accidents than narcissists with steering wheels.

I like driving, as I can go wherever I want and listen to music, sometimes I'll take a longer way home to explore. But my goodness, so many of these people should not have a license, and nobody does shit about it.

If you live in a rural area you'd have to always keep your eyes open for deer. They are suicidal af. I wouldn't be surprised if they had their own SaSu where they discuss jumping in front of cars as the most popular method

I found out i was in the right BTW, i crossed the road at the right time. The guy was just mean for no reason.
Also, where i live, pedestrians are a priority, it´s defined so by law.

I hate cars and driving so much too~ >_< It's honestly terrifying imo~ You have to go the speed limit and obey all the traffic laws (to avoid fines) while all the people around you are constantly going crazy, even driving off the freaking road to pass you sometimes and semis not even realizing you're in the lane over from them before they start changing lanes~ >_< plus, these vehicles are overpriced with such expensive parts while breaking sooo easily too~ :/ it's soooo bad~ >_< I guess I kinda multiply the misery a bit by trying my best to save money too, so that means trying to keep constant speeds (including trying to stay exactly the speed limit [screw variable speed limits for no freaking reason and slow down, move over laws~ :/]) while keeping the AC off and windows closed~ >_< it's an absolute pain~ >_< I'm always scared when I'm driving as I swear I've almost hit so many cars~ >_< they just love to speed up when you turn on your turn signal, so idk if I would've even gotten close if I never turned it on~ regardless, idk~ >~<

I can probably rant for days about how bad driving is~ >_< at least, nowadays, I bring my computer, so I have my favorite music playlist running~ :) in the past, I drove home with the radio on with not-great songs half the time and silence for the rest (during the ads)~ That made me really, really sewer slidal and in that mood for the entire rest of the day tho~ :( so I have CD's and that now~ hehe~ ofc, it doesn't make driving not a terrifying misery I have to embark on every day, but at least, it makes me not want to sewer slide as a direct result of having to do it so often the majority of the times I drive~

Honestly, a normal person would have told the guy to go fuck himself, but I just keep mulling over the situation because I'm so fragile, which is something i really have to talk to my therapist about. Knowing I was right somehow made it worse.

I hate traffic too and I hate roads and how they are managed. Everyone speeds around in massive vehicles paying no attention to speeding and road rules - the roads are full of bullies with no patience. If you have a small car then it's just plain scary and dangerous. Not to mention the toxic fumes.

I used to live in New Jersey which had the worst traffic ever. On Fridays it would take me 30 minutes to drive home on a route that should have taken less than 10 minutes and I would spend all 30 of those minutes wanting to die. It was fucking exhausting and by the time I got home I was too tired to function.

My dad is the worst driver ever. He has a big fucking ego so he never realizes how shitty his driving capacity and mannerism is. I pledge to stay away from car and driving for as long as possible. Luckily I live in a big city so I walk everywhere all the time. It's so vain cause I'm suicidal and beauty means nothing to me, but walking and taking public transport make me like my body a bit more.
