That's such a trigger to suicide. I think most of you feel the same way.

Im sad to hear that, of course loneliness can be unbearable and it can be indeed the main trigger for many.
For me its the opposite. I get more suicidal if i can't be in constant isolation. I know it's unhealthy and that it makes me suffer, but im really addicted in closing myself in.
Hopefully this forum will help you to reduce this sensation.

I'm similar, but I'm used to it. I just talk to people on here.

Same here. Loneliness is a deep fundamental need, despite the difficulty. Put me in a large group for a weekend, after the torture (not always but often), the next days I can go severely downhill and wanting to jump out of the window. It breaks my balance. I only bear relationships at homeopathic dose, and prefer individual meetings.

Feel the same way. I don't have real friends and fell pretty depressed since my gf left me.

I could not agree with you more, it is exhausting and dangerous for me to change my pattern, even though the pattern itself might degrade me even more in the long run. This is the way some of us have learned to survive, so the lesser evil is to follow this path.

I feel the same way, but also I feel like there's nobody I can talk to.
Kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Same here. I used to enjoy my alone time but that's when I still had an significant other and friends. I had forgotten what it was like to be completely alone and isolated. It's been 9 months of this. The isolation and loneliness makes me want to impulsively CTB everyday, honestly.

I have friends but for some reason when I try to talk to them about problems, it doesn't help much. It relieves me for a bit but it's only temporary.
I'm constantly reminded of that quote from scrubs
