Venting I feel like I just keep wasting tons of money on methods.

I just want a peaceful way to die. That's it, I don't feel like it should be this complicated. I have invested in Nitrogen with SCBA about $1000, Opioids around $600 and just ordered and then canceled an order for phenobarbital because I read a couple of survival stories on here.

ODing feels like the most painless, peaceful and doable option but it just seems so unreliable.

• I have the SCBA gas method, but I don't like that because of the mask and it just feels so not chill. I wish there was a way to create some sort of small sealed area around my bed and just lay down and let it happen. Would be happy to buy more nitrogen tanks, but I don't know if that is workable.
• I have a gun, but hare the idea of my family or friends seeing me like this either with their eyes or using their imagination.'
• SN just sounds fucking horrible. I mean, I might be able to find it with some work, but the stories I read from people make it sound anything but pleasant

I have the idea of placing an IV catheter to OD, but I am just not sure if I could get the catheter in.

I am just so frustrated. I appreciate you taking the time to and advice or ideas you have. I'm happy to keep investing in a peaceful end.

Share your thoughts on the IV OD being appealing but being worried about getting the IV in. I think that method would be a lot more popular if setting an IV was easier to do.

Yup. Attempted nitrogen once with a slapped together system and it failed. The line I was using kinked, so I invested in an actual airline and got all the correct connectors.

I threw some opiods away a while ago and regret that as I haven't been able to replace them. It seems like you have some viable options.

you're better off than me. i don't have any advice to offer you, but know that having options you don't like is better than having options that don't work. i spent this morning looking up information about ethylene glycol and sulfuric acid in drain cleaner but i came up short, since it takes days/weeks to die from either of them. i'm still thinking about giving into the urge but i don't want to end up blind or needing a feeding tube.

i hope that you're able to find peace through one of the methods you listed or find peace through a different method. your investments weren't a waste if they're still usable, but you probably don't want to hear that.

Completely agree. Just as I'm complaining about wasting money on attempts, I just ordered a practice arm. lol

I'd go with the nitrogen, minus the mask. May I ask what about it gives it the "not chill" factor?
