I wish so, so bad that I could be reincarnated. I don't have a nihilistic or pessimistic worldview at all. I think I'm somebody who thinks life is good. But what makes me so mad and upset is that I specifically am suffering so much, that everybody else is living the dolce vita while I rot, that I suffer from severe debilitating mental and physical illnesses that have ruined my chance at leading a happy life, despite the fact that I'm surrounded by joy and happiness everywhere I go, which only adds to my misery and jealousy. It's just so unfair. I do believe that there is absolutely nothing whatsoever after death, but I honestly just wish that this is all a bad dream and that after I ctb I wake up in another body the same day I was born, as the person I've always wanted to be, without any of the horrid upbringing, genetics, or disorders that have led me to the point I am at right now, as compensation from the cosmos for the psychosis-inducing torture I have been through.

It is extremely unlikely that afterlife/reincarnation exists. From scientific research and the fact that there is just no evidence of any deity/higher beings ever actually existing, it's probably that the world is just as boring as science says. Evolution, reproduction of living matter, all that thing. When a creature dies, its brain functions cease, so is the entire consciousness and all thought will end. So no more pain, no more thinking about anything or anyone, no nothing at all.

Idk how convincing that is, but just like... read any religious book or superstitious writing of the past. Most things you'll find there are downright silly. Fantasy writers make more convincing magical systems.

There is an afterlife but you don't have to worry souls do reincarnate but we don't so that means your personality/individual self as u know it doesn't reincarnate but the soul or the higher self which is a superior being just makes a new avatar every time it wants to incarnate on earth i know this for a fact from the ton of research I've done on spirituality and out of body experiences also the current scientific paradigm is shifting from the stupid materialistic view that says there's nothing out there into the new paradigm that recognizes that consciousness is fundamental and it is essentially what makes reality so it's not a product of the brain (just like max plank the pioneer of quantum physics told us years ago)

OP there's no way of knowing what will happen and there's no real evidence of anything.
It's best to put it out of your mind as something to deal with later, you're going to die at some point and you can handle it at that time.

it's not true, life is bearable for most but that's it. even life with lots of money, sunshine and sex, life is only "so good" until it gets monotonous. the only thing i think would make life "la dolce vita" would be engaging in your passions every day, like if you were a famous artist and got to be glorified for your art, or for something you built or do. that's so rare.

basically im just trying to say the grass isn't greener.
