That sounds nice. I wish I had an NDE before. Maybe it would be easier to let go. I truly believe that we are consciousness in a body having an earthly experience. After the body dies we go home.I have had several near death experiences and they were all the same. Everything would turn pitch black, I would slowly hear all sounds fading until there is complete silence, felt as carefree and happy as I have ever been in my life.... the weight I had been carrying for so long was lifted and I felt lighter. Some people say they see a white tunnel, and they are greeted by relatives/love ones that have past, or angel or etc.... I guess it depends on the individual and their beliefs. In the moments before my death, I did not want to be saved and accepted being thrown into the abyss of nothingness. It truly was utter bliss, but like everything good has to eventually come to an end I would reawaken and the darkness would be illuminated by a white light and I would take a deep breath and be forcefully brought back to this shit of existence. To me there was no pain nor suffering, you could compare it to sleeping except you feel an immense happiness and calmness.
Edit: Sorry Neberg, if I deviated from your problem.
