• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Is time going by fast for anyone else? I've done nothing in 2026 and nothing for years while everyone around me is working etc. All I do now is watch TV and sleep for like half the day. I never do anything productive. I dropped out of university years ago and have literally never worked a day in my life. I have no CV or proper qualifications to get a high paying job, my arms are covered in self harm scars and I have limited social skills from years of isolation. Not only that but AI is taking many jobs and there are so many people with way more qualifications and experience than me competing for a limited number of jobs. I'm fucked. I need to do it already lol.

I failed at being a normal human being.

I feel you. Even with a 4-year degree I couldn't find any job until 9 months post-graduation. I felt like shit because I could only muster spending 1 hour a day on the job search, *financially* and *morally* I should've spent more but I procrastinated and bummed around. Nearly everyone from school I was close with was successful, with well-paying jobs at good companies.

Now that I'm unemployed - I got fired from the one job I had last week entirely due to my fault (I was unable to control my emotions and lashed out really badly) - I'm definitely in the same boat. I agree that the market is getting worse. Even if we entirely ignore AI, with outsourcing, and the unwillingness to train new people, it's so tough out there.

Part of me still feels hope only because I was employed at one point, but those 9 months were some of the most miserable times of my life and I really really don't want to have to go through that again

I'm just sitting around watching all my friends find relationships and new friendships. Talking to me less and less, why should I reach out and cling to them if they obviously don't want to deal with me. They move in with their significant others, get degrees, get jobs and I'm just sitting idly, sucking up oxygen.
The only work I do is suck up ideas and warp myself a mental prison to be locked away from reality. I produce nothing of value.
All my life everyone told me how smart I am, how bright my future will be, how much potential I have. Maybe they lied to me, but I believe that if I was set up with a sincere, realistic outlook on life I maybe wouldn't be a burnt out, palid, ghoulish husk of a person.
How much time did you hold out for at uni? I didn't manage one full semester.

There are no incentives. At least, the ones that exist result in suboptimal and deprecating or catastrophic outcomes. Don't feel bad for yourself. You're not missing out on anything. Unless you have a stroke of luck, second wind or 'ways and means,' you're SOL. It's not exactly rational to feel bad for refraining to participate in a game if you know the outcomes are in all likelihood depreciating. But it's understandably valid if you feel the social pressure/programming cavitating.
