I laid low for a little while in case I was found, but I ended up failing the attempt. The gas just wouldn't go through the tube into the water so I had to bail. After cleaning up everything I feel safe enough to return.
My backup is with potassium nitrite. I couldn't find a cheaper source of SN so this is what I got. No antiemetics or benzos but I do have propranolol and candesartan (blocks Angiotensin II type 1 receptors, apparently they're activated when you're stressed) so hopefully things work out. I still need to look and see if there's other stuff that could help, so this isn't finalized.
