Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

But sometimes the pressure and unfairness of life can drive a perfectly okay person to have suicidal thoughts, it's just sad. Circumstances in life can drive you to the edge

I think most people in the Western world accept this as truth. The question seems to be, how do we solve it? And the word "condone" adds a moral dimension that I'm not super comfortable with. The main takeaway is that you don't have to have any type of "illness" to want ctb.

It seems that life is too complicated to offer such trivialities as happiness šŸ˜€
Of course many "humans" are proud of how much they can take and will not tolerate anyone complaining, no matter how much of a purgatory it all becomes.

I believe its more than that, mental/physical illness, pain, suffering, financial issues and isolation seems to be the top reasons. i believe when the pain and suffering of living is greater than not to live creates hopelessness and helplessness suicidal ideation becomes real.

Nature wants us do dissapear when we accomplished our biological mission of reproduction. Therefore we age. Suicide after a long and happy life is so much in harmony with nature.

Thinking about it, I probably do. Not mistaking condone for encourage of course. But, from a young age, when I saw characters in films etc. take their own lives, I tended to think- fair enough. They've had enough of the appalling circumstances in which they are living. It seems a reasonable choice they want out of them. Especially if they can't change them.

The bigger issue for me is who and why do people condemn suicide? Who do our lives belong to, if not us? Who has the right to have that power over us? I'm all for self choice. It's the one power we do have. Why should I live and die/ not die according to someone else's beliefs?
