I've already suffered in this existence for 23 years too long and thought of suffering in this existence for many more decades is beyond terrifying to me, I'd always prefer to peacefully not exist than to have the ability to suffer endlessly in this cruel and hellish existence. And to me it's really insane how many want to stop others peacefully ending their own existence as do they really want to die a slow, painful death from old age, do they really want to be tormented by old age without the option of a peaceful exit.

And that's all a human is destined for, all humans are just slowly dying and waiting to die, destined for nothing but to suffer from old age. The thought of being tortured by very old age is beyond disturbing to me, it's just meaningless suffering and senseless agony, I don't understand how anyone could want to suffer so extremely and experience the agony of old age.

Human existence truly is such an abomination and in general existence is just so evil, it's tragic to me how the human species even evolved in the first place and it disgusts me how humans continue to impose existence even know there is literally no limit as to how much one can be tortured as long as they exist.

To me existence itself truly is a virus that causes nothing but harm and suffering, the human body truly is just a disgusting, decaying flesh prison that we are slaves to, under no circumstances would I ever wish to be burdened with human existence.

I definitely don't want to reach old age. i regret not killing myself three years ago, here i am today in even more pain. constantly doing what others say and live only to be faced with the reality of prolonging the same pain and introducing new ones. there's no way i would want to stay any longer than this. its comes a point when i have to say it isn't worth it.
it isn't.
To me existence itself truly is a virus that causes nothing but harm and suffering,

it absolutely is.

I don´t understand either why people want to grow old and die of age-related disease. The average life expectancy is too high in the society of today. The human body doesn´t last as long as humans are expected to live. People suffer for decades from age-related ailments before they die. But pets are euthanized before they get old. We are Stone Age people so man can hardly be made to live more than thirty years. I have never wanted to grow old myself but now I am in the aging process. Self-preservation forces people to live. Life goes on because most of us can´t get euthanasia. Suicide is not easy without deadly medication.

why anyone would want to reach an old age? Many people are happy to reach an old age considering they are mentally, physically and financially healthy.
Not everybody thinks like you.

I went through a bad stroke at 29 years old which usually happens to old people and my parents have to help me out I can't imagine wanting to live till old age either . But many older people have fulfilling lives so we are in the minority in the way we think

Weaker, uglier, more feeble, more sicknesses and pains. The only thing that can get better as you age is your finances. But who cares about money when you got 1.5 feet in the grave really? Most people enjoy getting old because of optimism bias pollyannaism. It's built into our biology, it takes philosophising and deep thinking to realise its pointless

They enjoy getting old? Why? Personally, I would hate to get old. I'd rather die!

Aging and suicide is my famous topic. I could write a novel about this shit. I think I remember davidtorez had a similar view on it as me - something about the hopelessness of entropy. Basically aging makes everything so goddamm depressing. Like why the hell even go to the gym if you are going to fall apart anyway? I go to the gym myself and it's a good thing of course, but it really makes you wonder - like you are going to end up with Alzheimers anyways, so why even bother? Living a healthy life will only slow things down (and only a little bit imo) you will never be able to beat it - unless there comes some really advanced technological breakthroughs, which might come some day - but surely not in the next many many years, so I defiantly don't count on that.

I don't know precisely when the human body starts to break down and obviously genes and lifestyle does play some role. For men it's usually around the age of 28, when it starts to go downhill - slowly at first of course but then things speed up around the age of 35-40. Woman starts to go downhill around the age 25 and then things speeds up around the age of 30. Woman ages a little faster then men - because that's just how wonderfull evolution is.

The body still is good at fighting of diseases up to around the age of 45, when your risk of cancer starts to increase rapidly. A person who is 20 or 30 both have an extremely low risk of getting cancer - probably around 1 in a 1000 or even lower. But when a person is in his/her 50 it's probably around 1 in 30 - that's like a 3000% increase and things only get a hell of a lot worse after that. Like a 80 year old probably has a 1 in 5 risk of getting cancer - and that's just cancer. If you don't get cancer, don't worry! All the other horrible diseases are happily standing in line waiting for you. Like aging is really really really bad for you and it will fuck you up in every way imaginable. It's a battle you are condemned to lose. So it's safe to say that aging is the single biggest reason for me wanting to ctb. There are other reasons of course, but aging is the biggest one.

Nicely put. In the same vein , I have a kind of philosophical thought experiment. When you calculate all the odds and statistics of getting disabilities, sickness in life , from birth to death, we are bound to at least get one type of mental , physical sickness/disease/disability to deal with. Noone will escape it. This much we know. .
This is the question. If a person is told by a dr or medical professional (by doing DNA /gene tests) that their child will have a certain disease/disability by a certain age and its 99% accurate that it will happen , would it be immoral for them to bring that child into existence knowing what's to come? What if they get told by the age of 10 your child will have such and such a sickness/ disability? What if they were told that their child would be disabled by age 20 30 40? Or do we only refrain from having a child who is born with the sickness / disability?

Wait, we're the same age? I thought FuneralCry was like 40 or something. Anyway, I get the dread of aging. I hate the idea of consistently losing more and more energy and slowly decaying into a shell of my former self.

Sex actually got a lot better for me as I got older and slowed down. At fifty-four, my orgasms have a knockout intensity that they never had in my twenties. I sometimes think I might actually die this way. Of course, you have to have stayed healthy for it to happen this way. I gather that most men my age are more or less impotent from a lifetime of consuming garbage and drugs of various kinds, and moving as little as possible.

No way, definitely very young, the voice is unmistakable - at least to me, who used to talk just like that thirty years ago.

on what i noticed about my area is i think its more like a cultural thing. I live in a province where people are lucky enough to be uneducated (Does not have any privelege to have access to education and internet) i think thats the beauty of being oblivious and ignorant about life because they just trying to live and fun without questioning about their existence. But if they ever question about their existence, then maybe they relying to it more on religious beliefs. I really envy their ignorance because thats the reason that kept them being alive and delusional about living. I rather live being ignorant, uneducated and oblivious rather than being too woke about actual factual things about this world.
