☆ ── (𝑪 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒚𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈...)

I can't stop working. Workaholic ig.

I really don't know why but I signed up for 4 jobs because I simply can't stop.
Is there a chance I will burn out? 100%

I don't even know how to handle all of this, I just need to do smth or I will crash out…

Highfunctional depression? Hypomania? We don't know.

I think your idea wasn't an initial financial gain, but intended to keep you so busy less ctb thoughts. If that's true then this is easily fixable. Nobody should or possibly enjoy working 4 jobs!! Why put this unnecessary stress on yourself? I suggest 2 jobs max or you'll become bitter and mean̈.

Are you from Japan?

It's a serious problem over there. Even their Prime Minister Recently said that you should not stop working and six hours of sleep every day is enough.

They even have a term for it over there.
Death by overwork" in Japan is known as karoshi, and it refers to death from heart attacks, strokes, or suicide brought on by extreme work-related stress, often from working 60 or more hours per week.

I hope you don't, but you will most probably burn out eventually, like you know. I get it, keeping afloat and busy, because if you are moving you can't think.
Maybe try and have a contagion plan for a possible crash out. To avoid actual doing something regretful that could leave you with long-term consequences if ever things turn south. So you have some sort of support system, family, friends?
I'm sorry you are going through this.

I had three jobs before I had a kid.

Moreso out of financial necessity-- my field does not pay well to begin with, let alone enough to keep up with the Nightmare Treadmill that is the current economical climate-- but I somehow feel like I had more downtime then than I do with one job and the kid (admittedly, two were PT, and one of those was only on the weekend).

I hope at least some of your jobs are fun / meaningful / destressing enough to offset the others. One of my jobs had a lot of physical movement compared to the other two, and that helped with the physical health aspect of it.

I won't lie. Part of me is impressed that you're working so hard because it's actually a good trait to have. Most people have the opposite problem.

However, my own workplace has been stressing on work life balance recently.I don't know, it might just be human resources spiel. But it's definitely good to enjoy different things in life. I mean, whenever we focus on one thing too much, we end up missing others along the way.Don't you have some hobbies that you like? Hopefully once your goals are reached you can ease off a bit and Settle into a more relaxed pace.

I can't believe I actually have to say this, but I only work one job myself 😂
