Discussion I can't see the CTB as a synonym for failure

Many people associate suicide with failure. The pro-life person will say that this is a manifestation of wanting to give up or wanting to be nothing in life.

The "you can do it" or "get up" makes me think, do pro-life people believe that life is a career? Where whatever happens should the perpetuity of your own life be guaranteed regardless of the amount of suffering that could you be having ?. Another person, who worships Santa Muerte, told me that a person who commits suicide is condemned to see his life pass over and over again for eternity (WTF). To which I replied, "It doesn't make sense that when we die we have to repeat cycles and cycles like a fool"

People know that death is inevitable, for me, being afraid of death is absurd, however more and more I feel that the pro-life arguments become more and more absurd.

For me, suicide does not mean failure in life, nor do I see it as a good or bad thing, it is simply advancing a natural process because you feel that this plane is unable to meet your expectations, or because you want to escape from the circumstances surrounding your life that you have no control over.

People know that death is inevitable

A lot of them refuse to accept the fact that death is inevitable. The main reason people cling to religion like stubborn babies is that it promises them immortality

I agree. I see the right to die as important. The human life expectancy is far too long, and I see suicide as preventing decades of meaningless suffering. We are all just going to die anyway and life is essentially pointless. Staying alive is just delaying the inevitable really. Not wanting to suffer anymore in a world as cruel as this doesn't mean that someone is a failure.

Life will end one day. There are millions of people who will die younger than us. Suicide is "natural". We as individuals are taking an informed decision. I'm sure other creatures would do it too if they had the curse of self awareness.

I see huge self-respect and courage in ctb when all life do is kicking you. You basically say to life "I don't want to play your stupid game anymore. Fuck off"
