Magnesium really helped me.
Getting a job really helped me.
I thought I was a goner
It will be okay and soon this will all seem like a bad dream of the past
You are beautiful

Forever? How did you manage that?
Seriously though, I'm so glad you're in recovery. I hope life continues to improve for you.
Getting a job wouldn't improve my situation, but I'm interested to hear about the magnesium. What did you take it for and how did it help you?

Thanks. And I am diagnosed with bipolar, generalized depression, anxiety and body dysmorphic disorder. Magnesium is a natural alternative to lithium, it is simply a vitamin found in food. Ever since I started taking it my life turned around.

Please share your doseage and how long it was before it helped you (I can give up too easily..). How long has it been working for?

Thank you for sharing your good news with us
Ps I just found this. Doseage in this study 4 X 500mg, 4 times a day. Two weeks to see effect

It began working immediately for me, and even more effective after a few days, a week and two weeks. I just take it once a day or night (it can be used as a sleep aid too) I have skipped days and I don't notice a difference until the 3rd day without taking it. I simply took it that night, fell asleep and felt good the next day.

Thank you - I think I had the citrate, but am going to get the chloride and give it a few weeks at the NHS recommended dose. What dose are you taking? Thanks again so much for sharing this.

Haha, even I don't wanna live forever, but it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world at this point though ;)

And damn! That's amazing! Did you get your blood tested before and after the treatment to see a change in your magnesium level? That's fascinating.

Should I go with the chloride one? I also read that it reduces the effect of gabapentin.

So I bought magnesium yesterday and took it last night and it REALLY helped. I'm scared of it stopping working, cos everything that helps me seems to stop working after two weeks. Just when I think I have my life back....

But I think I need to keep taking it consistently to test it, and just to know it might stop working. I do have some other drugs to try on order so if the magnesium stops working I can try those.

Thank you OP for the hot tip.

And @Squiddy what breed is your puppy? I am a huge dog lover,I share a Mini Schnauzer with my ex

Thank you for this post! Mag citrate, even at half the RDA, is a laxative for me. Just got something advertised as "brain magnesium" (mag L-threonate), it's a small dose but I'll give it a try!

Glad to hear you are doing good but for some people living is hell and death is a way out from severe pain. You don't want to wish for people to live if they suffer too much and their pain can't be helped.
