while theres better methods like some of the ones suggested above. if it was as easy as "painless" and "no problems if we fail" we would all just be constantly trying and trying again until we succeed because it doesnt hurt and theres no consequences. so, we'd already be dead by now if that was actually a possibility

If you're going it alone, without competent assistants trained in euthanasia, anything effective can turn you into a vegetable or similar if you screw it up. So if you're really gonna do it, do it carefully & thoughtfully

SN isn't painful, it's just a bit unpleasant but it has a high certainly of working as long as you take antiemetics. It's relatively easy to source, just as for a PM for sources. Headache, nausea, fast breathing, fast heart rate. Nothing too unbearable for half an hour or so

how do you know that for sure? there have been cases of people unable to do anything still "communicating" so clearly they have some mental capacity left

From what I understand, it's not like suffocation. If it were, I'm sure more people would call for help. It's just described as breathlessness. People who have come back having tried some amount of SN don't mention particular discomfort, this includes people who ended up unconscious

I wanna SN ctb when i have all the supplies. But I'm scared that if I'll fail I'm gonna end up vegetable cuz I already have neurological damage from ODs and an neurological illness called hppd. Do you know if I'm at higher risk of permanent brain damage if I fail. Cuz I think so tbh ffs

All that anyone can do with methods is look at the resources section as said above. There is plenty of method information on this website. What is the best method depends on what is able to be accessed. I believe that it's a personal decision that only the individual can make, deciding what method is best. Of course suicide is not easy and if it was easy to die in a reliable, painless way I would already be gone and there would be no extensive method resources on here.

I'm not a doc but I don't see why you'd be more susceptible to brain damage than anyone else? Sorry for your neurological problems

I once met a woman who had jumped.
Quadriplegic now. Unfortunately very aware of her situation, but otherwise completely relying on support.

The worst part IMO would be not to be able to try again.

I wonder what pain meds could help with the pain. A heavy dose of tramadol and/or cocodamol maybe
