I took my kid to a practice round of golf today. On one hole, the fairway is uphill and then breaks downhill. He didn't see me walk ahead of him to make sure the people in front of us on the other side of the hill were far enough away for him to safely hit his ball without hitting them. Before I could signal the OK, I felt the wind of his ball zip next to my head. My kid is really good at whacking the crap out of the ball and hits further than I can. If only he had aimed it an inch to the right, I would have CTB today. So close….

I did not know that a golf ball could kill people, but it certainly does sound painful being hit by one. I wish you the best in whatever happens.

I recall an incident at a driving range near me when a kid hit a golf ball, it hit a support strut and ricochet back into the lane and hit the kids brother on the head and killed him stone dead. So a golf ball to the head definitely can kill
It can kill if you're a little kid, it wont kill a full grown man

It can but falling down the stairs can also. Ice hockey players would be dead left and right if it really was likely. they loose some teeth or have a big ass bump on their head. A golf ball being hit by a kid shouldnt do much more damage than a puck being hit full force by professional hockey players. Which is good cuz It really wouldnt be good to have someone kill one of their parents by accident.
