Discussion Hypothetical: If reincarnation was real and you HAD to pick, who or what would you end up as?

Now of course we don't know what happens after death, but let's just entertain this scenario of reincarnation. If we HAD to choose a life to be put into after death, which one would you rather find yourself in?

I honestly sometimes just want to be reborn as someone who would live a simple, happy life with a small family and a ton of pets. Or maybe I'd want to be born as someone who would end up in the music industry, not as a star but someone working behind the scenes who isn't of much note but having a good time. Or maybe I'd want to be born as someone who'll end up well off enough that in the latter half of their life, they'd dedicate their entire rest of their life to philanthropy.

Wishful thinking, but what would you want to end up in?

Animals are so helpless, they get exploited, preyed upon by humans and other animals, they're exposed to the elements and suffer huge limitations. Even domestic animals, while usually more comfy than wild animals, are completely dependent on us to survive and at our mercy. I want to always make sure my pets are as happy and ignorant as possible cause it's actually pretty sad when I get to thinking they cant eat or even go outside to the toilet without our help.

Yeah, I don't wanna be anyone famous or whatever. I just wanna be some normal, functioning person that doesn't want to CTB, lol.

Also, being an animal sounds kinda scary. As much as I joke about wanting to be a dumb little dog that's just hanging out in a celebrity's house, the human dependency does suck. Honestly love the sound of where you wanna end up though, would be nice.

I suppose it depends on the "why" of reincarnation. If we are to grow and become closer to the source by way of our earthly incarnations, we won't gain much by way of an easy life. That is the premise of a lot of new age stuff currently out there, in which reincarnation features prominently. So perhaps a middle-of-the-road life. One where spiritual progress can be made, without it being so intolerable as to be unmanageable in practice.

If I had to choose, a cat who sleeps all the time. I do not want to be a human again. I really hope that reincarnation isn't real, all I want is non existence. Some type of animal that isn't easy prey for humans or other animals. Something simple and unnoticed that doesn't physically suffer before the end of its life cycle. Maybe even a single-cell organism. Or a fungi.

I don't think I'd ever like to be a human again. So much of human suffering exists because of our higher cognitive ability and psychological needs. I would rather just be a blissfully unaware creature until my body gives out.

I don't want to be reincarnated. It would be absolute nightmare to me if it turned out that reincarnation is real.
That being said, if I had to pick something to reincarnate into, I would pick a crow. I would like to find out how it would feel like to be able to be a bird that's able to fly. Crows are one of smartest birds so I suppose that would the best pick.

I can kind of see where the people are coming from that want to be insentient creatures, but personally I love people and I love life so I would definitely want to be a person. I'd chose to live in the Paleolithic I'd like to be a part of one of those tribes that lived at Lascaux or Altamira or some other spot with cool cave paintings. Maybe I'm idealizing this life but I just want to chill outside all day forage for berries and partake in arcane shamanic rituals or whatever.

Alternatively I'd want to live in the current day as a complete " normie", just to see what that would be like.
