I know that ODing on prescription medication is often discouraged here, but I've been doing a lot of research on methods during the past few weeks, including the PPEH, Guide to a Humane Self-Chosen Death by the Wozz Foundation, the Chloroquine and Amitriptyline guides on the forum, Uitweg by Boudewijn Chabot and other sources. I have also read the section on the Chloroquine controversy from Five Last Acts, although I don't have access to the entire book. I do not want to risk ordering SN from overseas and am also somewhat concerned about the peacefulness of that method. So I would like to use prescription meds, which are also what is used by most euthanasia organizations.
I've read that Docker mentions the possibility of combining amitriptyline and chloroquine somewhere. In my country, only hydroxychloroquine remains available, not the base or phosphate forms.
By now I've come up with the following protocol:
  1. Starting 48 hours before, take 10mg of metoclopramide every 6 hours with the last pill 1 hour before.
  2. Starting 12 hours before, stop eating and drinking anything but water. Avoid dairy products for the entire day.
  3. Take 20g (100Ă—200mg halved pills) of hydroxychloroquine together with 1g (100Ă—10mg crushed pills) of diazepam (long-acting benzo) in some non-dairy yoghurt or apple sauce.
  4. Take 7.5g (100Ă—75mg crushed pills) of amitriptyline dissolved in 100ml of water.
  5. Take 100mg (40Ă—2.5mg crushed pills) of lorazepam (fast-acting benzo) in some non-dairy yoghurt or apple sauce.
  6. Drink another 100ml of water.
Death should occur via cardiac arrest after 2-48 hours.
Initially I was planning on only using hydroxychloroquine, and several guides mention 12g of hydroxychloroquine as a fatal amount. However, I am concerned about two things:
  • Although there are lots of reports of combining diazepam and chloroquine in successful assisted dying attempts, this combination remains controversial due to the widespread use of diazepam as an antidote in chloroquine poisoning. There is at least one report attributing survival in a chloroquine overdose to diazepam, although I would think that the fact this was an otherwise healthy young person already discovered 5 hours after the attempt might be more significant here. Somewhat concerningly, 900mg of diazepam apparently didn't reliably induce sleep in this case.
  • Virtually all reports mention chloroquine phosphate or base, but not hydroxychloroquine, which is reported to be less toxic. Chabot mentions 2 cases involving hydroxychloroquine, of which one almost failed and likely only succeeded via dehydration due to continuous administration of sedatives by a doctor, and the other also involved ingesting 4g of chloroquine base.
Most assisted dying guides also mention amitriptyline as a suitable substance to ctb. There is one thread on the forum mentioning a combination of chloroquine and amitriptyline, as well as propranolol. I've therefore also added amitriptyline, just to be sure the attempt is successful. Amitriptyline is also often said to be somewhat sedating.
I'm very concerned about vomiting or other complications though if I take that many pills in combination. I need this method to be both peaceful and reliable. Am I overthinking things? Do you know of any successful attempts involving only hydroxychloroquine and benzos?

I think it's so painful that the process takes 2-48 hours. PPEH also says that this method is not peaceful. I searched threads by "chloroquine goodbye" and couldn't find only hydroxychloroquine and benzos attempts. Maybe no one here has attempted that. But there is an amitriptyline and chloroquine cocktail goodbye thread other than the "one thread" in your comment.

In my opinion, sorry but this does not seems worth trying because it requires a lot of medications, has complicated protocol, and potentially causes pain.
