I know that hydrochloric acid is available at a hardware stores, but I don't know how I get calcium sulfide. It claims that this can be done with readily available chemicals like an acidic toilet bowl cleaner as a proton donor and insecticides or bath salts as a sulfur source, but how do I know exactly what to get?
Is there a high chance of chemical burns? Is much that I can do wrong and fail?
Is it good enough to do this in a bathroom? I would cover vents, but how do I cover the gap at the bottom/top of the door? Is it ok to be upstairs and have a note inside the front door when people come in?
