NSFW (HUGE TW) Will my psychiatric consultant believe that these wounds are scratches from my fingernails?

There is a high chance he might want to talk to me tomorrow after I left the closed psychiatric ward (I did the cuts there because I was able to bring in some razor blades but they didn't care and believed me those are scratches by my fingernails).

This is a photo of my neck 11 hours after I did some minor cuts with a razor blade. I just took this photo.

My fingernails are natural and not sharp nor pointy. :/

Will he believe me or should I hide those wounds?

I would not expect him to believe you that they're fingernail scratches.

Imo there might even be a risk, in case the wounds as been noted as minor and caused by fingernails in your medical records, that he thinks you have continued hurting yourself and advanced to sharper means.

Unrelated ig but i used to also lie and say they were fingernail scratches and they always believed it. I mean i guess yours could somewhat pass as fingernail scratches but considering your nails aren't anywhere near sharp its difficult to believe, probably best to try and hide them.
